₦400m House Gift: King Ochacho Reveals Why He Really Gave Peller The Property
Popular billionaire real estate businessman King Ochacho has addressed speculation surrounding his reported ₦400 million house gift to TikTok personality Peller and his wife, Jarvis, clarifying that the gesture was not made in exchange for the promotion of his son’s music.
Speaking during an appearance at Pretty Mike’s White Party, Ochacho explained that he decided to gift the couple a house after meeting them at a wedding in Lagos. He stressed that the decision was motivated by his desire to bless the young couple and was not attached to any conditions.
According to Bush Radio Academy, Ochacho said the property is currently under construction and that he later decided to furnish it after noticing that Peller had voluntarily supported and promoted his son’s music.
The businessman maintained that he never asked Peller to advertise or campaign for his son, insisting that the house was given purely as a personal gesture.
Ochacho expressed frustration over reports suggesting that Peller was expected to promote his son’s music in return for the property. He explained that unlike situations where gifts from politicians may come with expectations of political support, his own gesture came without any obligation.
He said Peller independently chose to promote the song after receiving the gift, prompting him to go a step further by deciding to furnish the property for the couple.
Ochacho also revealed that he attained his first ₦1 billion at the age of 21, while expressing confidence that the house would be completed and eventually handed over to Peller and Jarvis.
The businessman’s clarification comes amid public interest in the highly publicised property gift and speculation over the circumstances surrounding the multimillion-naira gesture.
