The Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ebonyi State, Stanley Okoro Emegha, has announced that former Senate President and ex-Secretary to the Government of the Federation (SGF), Anyim Pius Anyim, is set to join the party. Emegha mentioned that efforts have been made to bring Anyim, a prominent leader of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), into APC, and he has accepted the invitation.

During a recent rally in Ivo, Anyim’s local government area, Emegha emphasized Anyim’s importance as a critical stakeholder within APC. He expressed satisfaction in seeing APC rally materials featuring Anyim’s image, despite Anyim’s absence due to prior commitments. Emegha highlighted his personal efforts to convince Anyim to join APC, citing Anyim’s wealth of experience and influence in the Southeast region.

Emegha confidently declared Anyim Pius Anyim as a member and significant stakeholder of APC, stating that his formal integration into the party will be widely acknowledged by July 14th, not just in Ebonyi State but across the entire Southeast region.
