The Katsina State Hisbah Board has demolished seized alcohol and other illicit substances valued at N60 million in Funtua Local Government Area. Usman detailed that approximately 1,750 crates of alcohol and 33 jerry cans of locally brewed beer were recently confiscated and destroyed in Funtua. This action aligns with the board’s mission to uphold moral standards within the state.
Acknowledging the board’s officials for their diligence, Usman urged them to sustain their dedication in carrying out their responsibilities. He also appealed to religious leaders in Katsina to support the board’s initiatives, emphasizing that Hisbah serves all segments of society without bias towards any group or sect.
