The APC leaders, including Kolawole Raji, and former House of Representatives members Muraina Ajibola, Dapo Lam, Sunday Adepoju, and Segun Odebunmi, addressed the gathering and urged the youths to avoid participating in the planned protest.
Raji, speaking on behalf of his colleagues, highlighted the risks associated with the protest and emphasized that President Tinubu has made progress in areas such as local government autonomy, student loans, and infrastructure development.
He explained that the purpose of the meeting was to inform the youths about the potential dangers of the protest and discuss national issues. Raji acknowledged the current challenges faced by the people but urged patience as President Tinubu works to address them.
“The situation we face did not develop overnight; it has been gradual. We are confident that under President Bola Tinubu, Nigeria will improve,” he said.
