Abiodun described the demonstration as a reflection of their dedication to justice, unity, and societal improvement.

According to DAILY POST, the protests were confined to four designated locations: MKO Stadium in Abeokuta, Ansar-ud-Deen Comprehensive High School in Ota, Remo Divisional High School in Sagamu, and Dipo Dina Stadium in Ijebu-Ode.

At these sites, security forces were deployed extensively to prevent any disruptions and ensure public safety.

Abiodun stated, “I want to express my deep appreciation to our energetic youths, committed students, and all Ogun State citizens for the exemplary way you conducted yourselves during today’s protest. Your peaceful demonstration underscores your dedication to justice, unity, and societal progress.

“I commend you all for your discipline and determination in keeping the protest orderly. Your commitment to maintaining peace while voicing your concerns is commendable and reflects the maturity and responsibility of our youth.

“I am especially thankful that you prevented any disruptions or chaotic elements from affecting the protest. This not only demonstrates your collective strength but also your character. You’ve shown that our voices can be heard without resorting to violence or destruction.”

In contrast to Ogun State, other regions such as Kano, Abuja, Nasarawa, and Yobe experienced violence, resulting in casualties and property damage.
