2. Yusuf Lawal, the Commissioner of Police in Borno State, confirmed on Saturday that four people were killed along Baga Road in Maiduguri during the nationwide #EndBadGovernance protest. He reported that Boko Haram insurgents attacked the protesters with explosives at a filling station on Thursday.
3. Several people are feared dead and others injured following clashes between hoodlums and security forces in Kano. The most affected areas include Rijiyar Lemo, Kurna to Bachirawa, Kofar Nassarawa in Kano Municipal, and Unguwa Uku in Tarauni Local Government Area.
4. On Saturday, the leadership of organized labor condemned what they described as a “massacre” of protesters by the Nigeria Police Force and other security agencies during the nationwide demonstrations against hunger.

8. Tragedy struck in Imo State on Saturday evening when gunmen reportedly killed Hyginus Ohazurike, the President-General of Umucheke Okwe autonomous community in Onuimo Local Government Area. Additionally, six village heads from the community were allegedly killed.
9. Federal Capital Territory Commissioner of Police Bennett Igweh stated that his officers were not responsible for the death of a teenager in Kubwa. The teenager’s death was reportedly attributed to police actions in a viral video.
