According to a statement from the fire service spokesperson, Hassan Hakeem Adekunle, the incident was reported on Sunday, August 4, 2024, at around 08:23 hours. Firefighters were dispatched to Aliara Street in the Manjasurawa area, where they found a man, estimated to be about 38 years old, who had drowned in the well.
The body was retrieved by the fire service and handed over to DCO Olatunji of the Nigeria Police Force, Ganmo Division. An investigation is underway to determine the cause of the incident.
