The community, represented by the law firm Chijioke Udeogu and Co Solicitors, Arbitrators, and Legal Consultants, also seeks information on constituency projects funded for the Abia Central Senatorial District, which they claim impacts them directly.

The petitioners argue that Obi Aguocha has not adequately represented their interests. Additionally, they are requesting detailed accounts of funds allocated to the Abia Central Senatorial District under Senator Austin Akobundu from June 2023 to August 2024. They also seek information on all executed and ongoing constituency projects, including the officially approved budgets for these projects during the same period.

Furthermore, the Nkwoachara community is asking for specifics regarding palliatives and social welfare packages approved and released by the National Assembly for the Abia Central Senatorial District within the specified timeframe.

In response, Nnaemeka Ekechukwu, Chairman of the Labour Party (LP) in Nkwoachara Ward, stated that his party has no record of any complaint against Obi Aguocha, asserting that Aguocha has effectively represented his constituents and maintained unity.

Obi Aguocha’s media office confirmed receipt of the reports circulating on social media, asserting that the representative has been transparent and is committed to his duties, including efforts to facilitate the release of Nnamdi Kanu from detention.

As of now, the media consultant for Senator Austin Akobundu could not be reached for comments on the allegations.
