The All Progressives Congress (APC) campaign train stormed Ekpon in Igueben Local Government Area with a fiery message of change, as gubernatorial candidate Senator Monday Okpebholo led the charge, promising nothing short of a complete transformation of the community.

In a powerful address to an electrified crowd, Senator Mathew Uroghide, the Director-General of the campaign, painted Okpebholo as the beacon of hope that Edo State desperately needs. Uroghide urged the people of Ekpon to throw their full weight behind the APC candidates, describing them as tireless workers who have proven their dedication to the people across their respective zones.

Echoing this call for change, deputy gubernatorial candidate Hon. Dennis Idahosa shared a glimpse of the future under Okpebholo’s leadership. “What my principal endured growing up, we will never allow the people of Edo to suffer,” Idahosa declared with conviction. He outlined a bold plan that includes empowering Edo’s youth, securing farmlands, reconstructing the Uromi-Agbor road with federal assistance, and renovating the healthcare facilities in Ekpon.

He also took direct aim at the current administration, vowing to tackle Edo’s security challenges and resurrect the neglected Ekpon Grammar School—an institution left to decay under Governor Godwin Obaseki’s watch.
