The Lagos State government has taken action by sealing Cubana Chief Priest’s restaurant, Donald’s, due to environmental violations. The establishment, which began operations in August and had been running 24/7, was shut down for breaching environmental regulations.
Lagos State Commissioner for Environment, Tokunbo Wahab, announced that the closure was prompted by issues such as noise pollution and other environmental infractions. He shared the news on social media, stating: “After numerous warnings and abatement notices, the Lagos State Environmental Protection Agency (@LasepaOfficial) has sealed Donald’s Fast Food on Adebayo Doherty Street, Lekki 1, due to noise pollution and various environmental breaches.”
As of now, Cubana Chief Priest, known for his connections with Nigerian music star Davido, has not publicly addressed the restaurant’s closure on his social media accounts.
