13-Year-Old Student Attacks Classmates With Hammer And Knife, Resulting In Severe Injuries
A teenage boy has been arrested following a violent outburst in a classroom involving a hammer and knife, which has left a 13-year-old girl in critical condition.
The 13-year-old student launched a brutal attack on his classmates in Chelyabinsk, Russia, this morning. During the rampage, he inflicted severe injuries on at least four individuals, including slashing one girl’s throat and striking her with a hammer.
The injured girl was urgently transported to the hospital and is currently undergoing surgery to save her life. Another girl is also receiving emergency medical attention, and several others sustained injuries.
Prior to the attack, the suspect, identified as Roman G, had posted a tirade on social media condemning Russian President Vladimir Putin and accusing him of ‘Nazism’ and ‘enslavement of the population.’
Authorities are investigating the motives behind the attack. According to Baza, the suspect arrived at the school dressed entirely in black and bypassed his classroom, heading towards the restroom before initiating the assault.
