Aderibigbe explained that the recruitment will include 230 education officers and 561 others, marking the largest intake into the mainstream civil service in the past two decades.
Prospective applicants are expected to apply through the state government’s job portal, www.jobportal.oyostate.gov.ng, from October 7 to October 11. The online application process is designed to ensure transparency, fairness, and equity.
According to Aderibigbe, applicants for degree-required positions must hold a university degree with a minimum of second-class honors, while those applying for Higher National Diploma (HND) positions must have at least lower credit. All university and polytechnic graduates must present their NYSC discharge or exemption certificates during the recruitment process. Additionally, applicants with a Nigeria Certificate in Education (NCE) must have at least a merit qualification.
He emphasized that the commission will prioritize competence and will conduct the recruitment process without any political interference.
