2024 SASSCE Results Announced By NBAISThe National Board for Arabic and Islamic Studies (NBAIS) has officially released the results of the 2024 June/July Senior Arabic and Islamic Secondary School Certificate Examination (SASSCE).....KINDLY READ THE FULL STORY HERE▶

Professor Yahuza Sulaiman Imam, the Registrar and CEO of NBAIS, highlighted a significant increase in the number of candidates this year, with 40,754 students registering for the 2024 SASSCE, up from 33,922 in 2023. Of these, 9,399 candidates enrolled for science subjects, while 4,080 registered for Tajweed/Tahfiz courses.

According to a statement from the Board’s Head of Information and Protocol, Mu’azu Yunusa Sambo, Esq., 62% of the candidates successfully passed the science subjects. The results also indicate that 24,524 female candidates (60%) and 16,196 male candidates (40%) registered for the examination.

In addition, 71% of the candidates achieved credit or above in the five major subjects, including English and Mathematics. Professor Imam expressed gratitude to the Federal Ministry of Education, the staff of the Board, the State Ministry of Education, stakeholders, and the press for their collective efforts toward the successful completion of the 2024 SASSCE.

It is worth noting that the marking exercise for the 2024 SASSCE took place from July 18 to September 27. Furthermore, registration for the November/December 2024 SASSCE has begun as of October 8, 2024.
