President Tinubu Embarks On Official Trip To Saudi Arabia President Bola Tinubu will depart Nigeria on Sunday for Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, to attend the Joint Arab-Islamic Summit, which will address critical issues surrounding the current situation in the Middle East.....KINDLY READ THE FULL STORY HERE▶

The summit, scheduled to begin on Monday, November 11, 2024, was announced by presidential spokesperson, Bayo Onanuga, on Saturday.

The event, hosted at the invitation of King Salman and Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, follows last year’s summit in the same city.

During the summit, President Tinubu is expected to deliver a speech on the ongoing Israel-Palestinian conflict, reiterating Nigeria’s strong call for an immediate ceasefire and urging a peaceful resolution to the crisis. Nigeria will also advocate for renewed efforts to pursue a two-state solution, which it views as essential for long-term peace in the region.

The president will be accompanied by key officials, including National Security Adviser Nuhu Ribadu, Minister of Foreign Affairs Ambassador Yusuf Tuggar, Minister of Information and National Orientation Alhaji Mohammed Idris, and Director General of the National Intelligence Agency (NIA) Amb. Mohammed Mohammed.
