Luka Modric Supports Kylian Mbappé: ‘Don’t Doubt Him, He’s One of the Best

Real Madrid midfielder Luka Modric has spoken out in defense of Kylian Mbappé, following growing criticism of the French star’s recent form. Despite Real Madrid’s impressive 4-0 victory over Osasuna in La Liga, Mbappé has failed to score in four consecutive matches, leaving fans frustrated.

Modric, a pivotal figure in the team, urged supporters to remain patient with the 25-year-old forward. “Don’t doubt Mbappé,” said the 2018 Ballon d’Or winner. “I’m sure he will help us a lot in the future.” He added, “He will prove to everyone why he is still one of the best players in the world.”

Since joining Real Madrid on a free transfer from Paris Saint-Germain in July 2024, Mbappé has netted 8 goals and provided 2 assists in 16 appearances for the club. His contract with the Spanish giants is set to run until June 2029.
