Minister Abubakar Momoh Hands Over Massive Flood Relief Materials To Imo State Government(Video)

Accompanying the minister were Hon. Eugene Okechikwu Dibia Agu, Chairman of the House Committee on Regional Development, and Senator Ita Enang.

The relief items, provided through the intervention of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu following a passionate appeal by the minister, were distributed to the nine Niger Delta states to aid communities affected by the devastating floods.

The materials included food items such as rice, beans, beverages, noodles, and spaghetti. Additionally, household essentials and empowerment tools like kitchen utensils, motorcycles, cooking stoves, and sewing machines were provided to support rebuilding efforts.

Governor Uzodinma, who received the items on behalf of the state, thanked President Tinubu and Engr. Momoh for their timely support, highlighting the initiative’s importance in alleviating the suffering of flood victims and restoring livelihoods.

This initiative underscores the federal government’s unwavering commitment to the welfare and development of the Niger Delta region.
