The initiative, which focuses on the renovation, fencing, and construction of new classroom blocks at primary and secondary schools in the Ego and Agaza communities, aims to enhance the quality of education in the area.

Nasarawa State Governor Abdullahi Sule, represented by the state Commissioner for Education, Dr. John Mamman, expressed his appreciation for the project during the unveiling ceremony on Saturday. The governor highlighted that the completed remodelling would significantly improve educational standards in the region.

Governor Sule further lauded the mining company for its commitment to community development, noting that the project would greatly contribute to the growth and progress of Nasarawa State.

The governor reaffirmed his administration’s dedication to supporting initiatives that directly benefit the education sector, underscoring the state’s focus on improving infrastructure and resources for students and educators alike.

“I want to express our sincere gratitude to Black Gem New Energy Company Ltd for undertaking this meaningful project in Kokona LGA. This is a great step toward improving education in our communities,” Sule said.
