Leading Nigerian Celebrities Top Africa’s Most Talked About Personalities Of 2024 (Full List)

Nigerians claimed 18 of the top 30 spots in the list, with Wizkid ranking number one.

Kenya’s President William Ruto secured the second position, following widespread protests in June over a controversial tax bill, which he later rejected and signed a new budget law to address the country’s fiscal issues.

Nigerian Afrobeats star Davido ranked third after his highly publicized wedding to his wife Chioma in June, dubbed “Chivido 2024.”

The list also features notable figures such as Aliko Dangote, former Kenyan Prime Minister Raila Odinga, Nigerian influencer Bobrisky, South African musicians Tyla and Liema Pantsi, and Equatoguinea’s former public official Baltasar Engonga, who gained attention due to viral intimate videos.
