Top Edo PDP chieftain, Engr Moses Omo-Ikirodah has congratulated Ademola Adeleke , governor of Osun State, on his victory at the court of appeal.

The Appeal  Court on Friday Upheld the election of  Adeleke as governor of Osun State, the appellate court, in a unanimous decision by a three-member panel of Justices, held that the appeal Adeleke lodged to challenge his sack by the Osun State Governorship Election Petition Tribunal, was meritorious.

He described the court ruling as a victory for democracy and the people of Osun, adding that it gives Governor Adeleke confidence to continue delivering the dividends of democracy to the people of the state, which he has been doing since taking office.

Moses Omo-Ikirodah also emphasized the need for the PDP’s National Working Committee to put its house in order, citing recent developments as evidence that the PDP remains a formidable political party.

“On behalf of my people at Etsako Federal Constituency, I congratulate Governor Ademola Adeleke on his landmark victory at the Appeal Court. I also extend my best wishes to the members of my party, the PDP, its leaders, and teeming supporters for this awesome victory,” he said.

“I am overjoyed by the Court of Appeal’s decision on the Osun Governorship Election Petition and grateful to the judiciary for doing justice in this matter.

I must commend the courage and sagacity exhibited by the three-member panel of Justices of the court which ruled in our parties favor and upheld the election of Adeleke, it is a pointer that the PDP remains a formidable party to beat in our Nation.

On that note, I’d like to make a special appeal to our National Working Committee, NWC, to quickly clean up its house, put an end to internal squabbles, and reposition the party for great success.

The PDP has demonstrated that it is the party with the ACE to solving the nation’s myriad of problems, and it is only imperative that the party put behind it the political schemings that played out in the recent general elections and move forward as a strong and united team.

This is undoubtedly a win for democracy and the good citizens of Osun State, who freely elected Governor Ademola Adeleke to lead them. The Governor will be encouraged by this to continue bringing the benefits of democracy to his people.
