Speaking at the swearing-in ceremony, Governor Yusuf stated that the appointments followed a thorough evaluation process. He urged the new officials to dedicate themselves to serving the state with integrity, warning that his administration would not condone incompetence or abuse of office.
The governor highlighted his administration’s commitment to ushering in a new era focused on transforming Kano into a state of progress and opportunity.
“We carefully selected individuals based on competence, experience, dedication, and a strong moral compass. We expect you to perform at the highest level to build a better Kano,” Yusuf stated.
He advised the appointees to consider their positions as valuable roles within the NNPP-led administration, urging them to uphold professionalism and ethical conduct in their duties.
“While I acknowledge that no one is perfect, you must be mindful of the oath you have taken. Your duties should not be influenced by politics. Avoid hypocrisy and unnecessary gossip. If you carry out your responsibilities diligently, the sky will be your limit,” he added.
