Painful Revelation: OAP Lolo 1 Details Rape By Colleague Who Went On To Become A Leading Broadcaster

Lolo 1 made this disclosure during a recent episode of the Say My Piece podcast, where she explained that the individual who raped her has since become a well-known figure in the broadcasting industry. She also discussed the challenges rape victims face when it comes to speaking out about their experiences.

The actress emphasized that she is not yet ready to fully share the details of what happened. “A woman like me, I hardly would say this, and I’m not ready to tell the full story. I’ve been raped only once in my life, and it was by a colleague. I see him almost every day. You can’t imagine the trauma,” she said.

She added that speaking out could lead to people questioning why she didn’t report the incident sooner, especially now that her attacker holds a prominent position. “When sexual assault happens to a woman, the first reaction is denial—’This didn’t happen.’ Then comes self-blame—’I caused this, what could I have done?’ All these thoughts are part of the processing,” she explained.
