Dangote Exposes Hidden Hands Behind Plot To Derail Tinubu’s Economic Revolution

Aliko Dangote, the founder of the Dangote Group, has accused some prominent oil marketers and traders of deliberately undermining President Bola Tinubu’s administration. Speaking with State House reporters after a meeting with the president in Abuja on Monday, Dangote expressed concern that certain forces were working to sabotage Tinubu’s efforts to restructure the nation’s economy.

The billionaire entrepreneur, who previously voiced his struggles in ensuring the survival of his $20 billion refinery, clarified his earlier remarks about battling oil sector cabals. He stressed that his comments were not directed at the new leadership of the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC) Limited, which he commended for their support in addressing the company’s needs.

Dangote specifically pointed out that the “major oil marketers and traders” were attempting to frustrate Tinubu’s economic revitalization plans. He praised the President for appointing a capable leadership team at NNPC, including Bayo Ojulari as the Group CEO and Ahmadu Musa Kida as the non-executive chairman.

The business magnate further expressed confidence that this new leadership would tackle systemic challenges and align with the President’s vision for a $1 trillion economy. He emphasized that the structural reforms and initiatives launched by NNPC reflect a stronger focus on transparency, efficiency, and accountability, which will contribute to the corporation’s long-term sustainability.
