According to Naija News, the singer recounted how she had scolded her 10-year-old son for misbehaving. Expecting him to be upset and keep his distance, she was surprised to later find him quietly curled up beside her in bed.
Reflecting on the emotional moment, Tiwa admitted that motherhood comes with difficult responsibilities, particularly when correcting a child, but despite the challenges, it remains a deeply rewarding experience.
“Last night reminded me of one of the hardest parts of being a mom—you still have to discipline your child and be firm, even when it hurts you,” she said. “Everyone knows I’m a very strict parent. I really lost my temper last night… but then I woke up and saw him sleeping next to me. I had fallen asleep on the couch, and he still came to lie beside me. Despite the shouting, he sought comfort from me. Being a mother is tough, but it’s the most beautiful feeling in the world.”
