Adamawa Guber: “Women Are Just As Good At Rigging As Men”- Reno Omokri Mocks Binani

A chieftain of the People’s Democratic Party, Reno Omokri has mocked the All Progressive Congress flagbearer in Adamawa, Binani after the election loss to seating Governor.

Recall that the Adamawa Guber is arguably the most controversial governorship election since the commencement of Nigeria’s democracy. Results took days to be announced by INEC after several alleged attempts by Binani and the APC trying to rig the election.

Although Binani won in the initial election held on March 18, a supplementary was carried out as a result of overvoting in the first. She was declared the winner without figures after allegedly paying two billion to Adamawa INEC REC to announce her as the winner. The electoral body at the federal level, Mahmood Yakubu addressed the issue and Fintiri, seating Governor was declared the winner.

Social media critic, Omokri reacted to the entire scenario via his Twitter page.

He wrote;

“What happened in Adamawa proves women are just as good at rigging as men, and a female in power can abuse it just as much as a man. Nigerian women need to denounce Aisha Binani’s behaviour as not representative of them, or the precedence will affect them in future!.”
