Last Chance! Civil Defence, Immigration Board Sh*cks Applicants With New Recruitment Deadline

The Civil Defence, Correctional, Fire and Immigration Services Board (CDCFIB) has announced an extension of the application deadline for its ongoing 2025 paramilitary recruitment exercise.

According to a statement released on Sunday by the Board’s Secretary, Maj. Gen. (Rtd) A.M. Jibril, the recruitment portal, initially set to close on Monday, August 4, 2025, will now remain open until Monday, August 11, 2025.

The Board explained that the extension is aimed at giving more interested candidates a chance to apply for positions within the various paramilitary services and the Board itself.

Applicants are reminded that the only official portal for applications is the entire recruitment process is free of charge, with a promise of fairness and transparency.

This latest update comes just two days after the Board issued a prior advisory for applicants who had submitted their information before a recent upgrade of the recruitment portal.

As outlined in the earlier notice dated August 1, 2025, such applicants can now access  The Board encouraged them to verify and complete their application process, noting that a confirmation slip—with the original Application ID—will be generated upon successful completion.

The Board also clarified that the updated portal does not accept fresh applications. Any new application submitted after the upgrade will replace any earlier entries and will not be accessible on the update portal.
