She shared the advice in a Facebook post on Thursday, August 7.
Responding to backlash over her statement, Adejoke clarified that she never mentioned a specific gender.
I said, ‘marry for money if you have to.’ But why are some people angry? Especially some men? Did I put gender there? Even men marry for money and connections these days. My post didn’t specify any gender,” she wrote.
“Some of these men shouting here would leave their current girlfriends in a heartbeat for Otedola or Dangote’s daughters.
“Even me, without much money, still have broke men chasing after me—telling me they don’t mind living in the house I built with my own money. One even said he’s fine using my car to take my son to school… e ri Olohun.
“Some men are only with their current partners because they have no other choice. When they finally make money, they go for their real taste. Don’t even get me started on how some of them marry great-grandmas from abroad.
