As the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) resumes its Continuous Voter Registration (CVR) exercise ahead of the 2027 general elections, High Chief Lucky Ohimai, popularly known as TAREX, has passionately called on Nigerians—especially the youth—to take full advantage of this golden opportunity.

TAREX, who serves as the Edo Youth Coordinator for Tinubu 2027, described voter registration as not just a civic duty, but the most powerful weapon young Nigerians can wield to secure a brighter future. He stressed that obtaining or updating a voter’s card is the first step towards ensuring President Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu is re-elected to consolidate and expand on the Renewed Hope Agenda that is already transforming the nation.

He eulogized Tinubu’s leadership, highlighting bold reforms and people-centered policies that have begun to revolutionize Nigeria’s economy, infrastructure, and governance. According to him, “President Tinubu has shown unmatched courage in tackling decades-old problems, and the results are visible. From healthcare subsidies to infrastructural renewal, and from youth empowerment to stabilizing the economy, Nigerians can see that the ship of state is being turned in the right direction.”

TAREX further applauded INEC for creating 811 registration centers nationwide—including all 774 local government offices—to make the process easy and accessible. He urged Nigerians not to wait until the last minute but to start immediately, either through the online pre-registration portal or by walking into the nearest INEC office.

He reassured the youths that their participation is central to shaping the destiny of the country: “This is our time. The power to secure continuity lies in our hands. By registering today, we are making sure that Tinubu’s vision for a prosperous Nigeria will not just remain a dream, but become a permanent reality for generations to come.”
