Barr. Felix Morka, APC’s National Publicity Secretary, confirmed the appointment in a statement released on Friday.

Olajolo, a lawyer and seasoned public administrator, will now oversee the party’s daily operations and manage its administrative affairs.

Hailing from Ile-Ife, Osun State, Olajolo was called to the Nigerian Bar in 2016. He began his public service career in local government, serving as Secretary of Ife Central Local Government from 1999 to 2003 before being elected Chairman. These roles allowed him to build strong administrative expertise and gain a deep understanding of grassroots governance.

After his local government tenure, Olajolo joined the National Space Research and Development Agency (NASRDA), where he rose to the role of Assistant Chief Legal Officer. At NASRDA, he handled complex legal and administrative duties, further honing his skills in public policy and organizational management.

In his new role at APC, Olajolo will be responsible for managing human resources, streamlining administrative systems, and ensuring the smooth execution of the party’s programs and activities.

The APC congratulated Olajolo on his appointment, wishing him success in leading the Secretariat’s administrative functions.

This appointment comes following the tragic passing of the previous Director of Administration, AbdulRauf Adekunle Adeniji, who was kidnapped in January 2025 and later died in captivity—a loss that temporarily closed the APC National Secretariat as the party mourned.
