My Heart Reacts Differently – Jim Iyke Reveals True Feelings About Ex-Wife Moving On

Nollywood actor Jim Iyke has disclosed that he harbors no resentment when he sees his ex-wife with another man.

The actor explained that the situation is not a threat but rather a blessing to their son, who benefits from the presence of two father figures.

In an interview with Punch, Iyke said completely cutting ties with his ex could have put their son at risk if she ended up with a partner who mistreated the child. He, however, expressed relief that her current partner is a kind man, which gives him peace of mind.

According to him, this dynamic has created a rare privilege for his son, who now enjoys the guidance of two father figures with complementary parenting styles.

While his ex-wife’s partner takes a softer, easy-going approach, Iyke sees himself as the disciplinarian, instilling resilience and perspective as a black man navigating the world.

“Bitterness is useless. If I cut her off completely, she could end up with someone who mistreats my son, and that would haunt me forever. But her partner is a good man. Instead of jealousy, I see my son as blessed with two fathers,” he said.

He further noted that the balance between the two homes has made his son one of the happiest and most grounded children he has ever seen.

Jim Iyke was married to Dana Kinduryte, a Lithuanian-American lawyer. The union produced their first son, Harvis Chidubem Iyke, born in 2015.
