The 45-year-old artist, speaking on a recent episode of The Honest Bunch podcast, revealed that she cannot date or marry a man who is financially struggling.

Explaining her stance, the mother of one said that being past her twenties leaves her little patience or time to grow together with someone who isn’t already established.

She stated, “I can’t marry someone who is not successful, and here’s why: I’m not in my 20s anymore, so we aren’t growing together. A man leads by inspiring me to aspire. If he can’t motivate me to grow, we can’t be partners. Success, faith, and emotional intelligence are all important to me.”

Waje also disclosed that she wouldn’t consider dating a younger man, stressing that such a relationship would be mismatched.

She added, “We would have conflicts. I’m very pragmatic. I often have to hold myself back with my siblings, friends, and family. Imagine if it were a husband—I’d be treating him like my child, and he would resent me.”
