Nollywood actress Regina Daniels’ elder brother, Sweezy Daniels, has raised concerns over the whereabouts and safety of their younger brother, Samuel Daniels, popularly known as Sammy West, who was reportedly arrested in Lagos on Monday, November 3, and taken to Abuja.....KINDLY READ THE FULL STORY HERE▶

In a post shared via Instagram, Sweezy accused Senator Ned Nwoko of intimidation and abuse of power, claiming that Sammy’s situation “can no longer be described as a mere arrest.”

According to him, Sammy has been denied access to legal representation, food, and water, and his current condition remains unknown.

He further alleged that Ned Nwoko vowed to keep Sammy in custody until Regina returns to his home.

Sweezy wrote:

“Sammy has no right to legal aid. Sammy cannot be seen. He hasn’t eaten or had water. Is Sammy even alive? I can’t say. His location remains undisclosed. Is this still an arrest or outright intimidation and abuse of power?

Ned said, and I quote, ‘If Regina does not come back home, Sammy will never be released.’ If this is about justice, then why deny him legal access?”

Meanwhile, the Lagos State Police Command has denied involvement in Sammy’s arrest, clarifying that the operation was conducted by officers from Abuja who arrived with a valid arrest warrant.

Police spokesperson SP Abimbola Adebisi explained that Sammy was only temporarily held at the Ogombo Police Division because the arrest took place late at night before he was transferred out of the state for further investigation.
