Sammy was reportedly arrested on Monday amid the ongoing marital crisis between Regina and her billionaire husband, Senator Ned Nwoko.

Regina’s brother, Sweezy Daniels, had earlier taken to Instagram to accuse Senator Nwoko of intimidation, claiming that Sammy’s ordeal had gone beyond a lawful arrest. According to him, Sammy was denied legal representation, as well as access to food and water while in detention.

Following his arrest, Sammy was allegedly transferred from Lagos to Abuja, where his parents met with him in an effort to secure his release.

On Thursday, Rita Daniels took to her Instagram page to express her pain, posting a photo of Sammy with the caption:

“Oh God, my heart is broken.”

Meanwhile, Regina Daniels has shared her joy over the reunion of her long-estranged parents, describing their reconciliation as a deeply emotional and long-awaited moment of peace for her family.

In a heartfelt post on Facebook, the actress revealed that her parents — once “sworn enemies” — decided to bury their differences purely for her happiness.

“Two sworn enemies reuniting with no negative ulterior motive other than their daughter’s happiness. And I dare question God for putting me in this situation?” she wrote, reflecting on her family’s journey toward healing.
