Jake Paul Sends Heartfelt Message After Anthony Joshua Survives Ogun Road Accident
American YouTuber-turned-boxer Jake Paul has expressed concern and sympathy following a road accident involving Nigerian-British heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua in Ogun State, Nigeria.....KINDLY READ THE FULL STORY HERE▶
The crash occurred on the Lagos-Ibadan Expressway on Monday afternoon, December 29, as Joshua traveled with friends who had accompanied him to Nigeria for the New Year celebrations.
Tragically, two men—Latif, popularly known as Latz, and Sina—lost their lives in the accident. Latif served as Joshua’s personal trainer, while Sina was his strength and conditioning coach. Both were seated in the front of the vehicle, while Joshua, who was in the back seat, survived with injuries.
In response to the incident, Jake Paul took to to extend his condolences to Joshua and all affected, emphasizing that life is more important than boxing.
“Life is much more important than boxing,” Paul wrote. “I am praying for the lost lives, AJ, and anyone impacted by today’s unfortunate accident.”
The message comes just days after the highly publicized December 19 bout in Miami, where Joshua reportedly broke Paul’s jaw in two places during a dominant performance, ultimately stopping him with a sixth-round knockout.
