In a message shared on his account, the singer underscored the importance of seeking support, noting that survival is only meaningful if one remains alive to share their story.

He spoke against the stigma surrounding mental health issues and urged people to have honest, open conversations about what they are going through.

Oxlade warned that taking one’s life would leave deep pain for loved ones, stressing that such a decision would be devastating to those who care.

Reassuring his fans, he said hard moments are temporary and that help is always available, adding that only those who hold on will have the chance to receive support.

“Things can feel overwhelmingly tough, and some of you may have been holding it all in for so long. But survival can only happen if you’re alive to tell the tale. Please talk to someone and take time to reflect on whether this is worth dying for. Don’t take your life; that would be so selfish. Don’t hurt the people you love by taking away your presence,” he wrote.

He added that a recent piece of news deeply shook him and appealed emotionally to those close to him, saying he could not bear another loss, while reminding everyone that “this too shall pass.”
