It was seen during the presidential campaign period and post-election where the Obidients abuse any soul who refuse to endorse their “messiah”. Moghalu, Adeboye, Paul Adefarasin, Father Mbaka, Seyi Law, Yetunde, Eniola Badmus, Cross, Wike and Wole Soyinka amongst others are good examples of prominent people who were dragged by supporters of Peter Gregory Obi.
Social Media Critic, Omokri, 49 a victim of abuse by the “headless mobs” stated that he advised Obi to caution his supporters but he turned deaf ears, claiming they are supporters of the ruling party disguised as an “Obidient”.
He wrote;
“Sadly, their leader is afraid of publicly calling them to order. And instead prefers to go privately to see people they insult to say one thing in private and then another in public. I have written exchanges with Peter Obi, in which he told me that the people insulting me were not Obidients; but All Progressives Congress supporters pretending to be Obidients. How he felt I would be foolish enough to believe that beats my imagination. These guys should note that those who do not learn from history are condemned to repeat it.”
