I Haven’t Forgiven Him!’ Veteran Actor Okunnu Accuses Marketer Olasco Of Unpaid Debt
Veteran Yoruba Nollywood comic actor Wale Akorede, popularly known as Okunnu, has publicly accused popular marketer Olasco Films of owing him money for a movie project.....KINDLY READ THE FULL STORY HERE▶
Speaking in a trending interview with media personality Olugbenga Oropo Valentine on the SAWORO programme, Okunnu alleged that Olasco has refused to pay him for a film he produced.
Recounting the experience, the actor described the unpaid fee as the reward for his “sweat,” explaining that despite producing, directing, and starring as the lead in the movie, he has not received any share of the proceeds.
Okunnu expressed his frustration, saying Olasco never gave him anything—not even a small amount for basic needs—since the film’s release. He added that he still holds resentment over the matter and has not forgiven the marketer.
According to him, he wrote the movie titled Aare, directed it, and played the main role. Both parts of the film were released simultaneously, yet he claimed he did not receive a single naira from the earnings.
