Henrietta Bulabari, representing the All Progressives Congress (APC), has been declared the winner of the Khana II State House of Assembly Constituency bye-election in Rivers State.....KINDLY READ THE FULL STORY HERE▶

Bulabari garnered 7,647 votes, outpacing candidates from other political parties in the contest.

The Returning Officer, Prof. Angela Briggs, confirmed Bulabari’s victory, stating that she had met all legal requirements.

“Having satisfied the requirements of the law, Henrietta Bulabari of the APC is hereby declared duly elected,” Briggs announced.

The officially declared results for the election were as follows:

  • APC – 7,647

  • ZLP – 47

  • AA – 46

  • NNPP – 37

  • YPP – 23

Out of 71,914 registered voters, 7,834 were accredited for the election. A total of 7,800 votes were deemed valid, while 34 ballots were rejected. Party agents were present throughout the collation and announcement of results.

Speaking after her win, Bulabari expressed joy at the outcome, describing the election as “free, fair, smooth, peaceful, and successful.”

The lawmaker-elect pledged to prioritise the welfare of her constituents, promising to implement impactful projects across Khana II. She assured residents that her tenure would focus on delivering the dividends of democracy and addressing their most urgent needs.
