APC Speaks Out: No Fixed Price For 2027 Nomination Forms
The All Progressives Congress (APC) has refuted reports circulating online that claim the party has set prices for expression of interest and nomination forms ahead of the 2027 general elections, describing the information as false and misleading.....KINDLY READ THE FULL STORY HERE▶
In a statement issued by the party’s National Publicity Secretary, Felix Morka, the APC clarified that it has not made any decision regarding the sale or pricing of nomination forms for the 2027 elections. It stressed that the claims did not originate from the party.
The party strongly rejected the reports, stating, “The report is FAKE and did not emanate from the Party,” adding that no announcement has been made on form pricing and that the claims are “a figment of the writer’s mischievous imagination.”
The APC urged its members, the media, and the general public to disregard the reports and refrain from spreading unverified information, noting that the speculation had gained attention on social media platforms.
The clarification comes amid online rumours suggesting that presidential nomination forms had been fixed at ₦200 million. However, the party maintained that no official pricing has been determined at this time.
It further advised stakeholders to rely only on official party communications for accurate and verified updates regarding its electoral processes.
