Victor Osimhen Set for Galatasaray Return Ahead Of Crucial Derby Clash

According to reports from Aksam Newspaper, Osimhen is progressing well in his recovery from a forearm injury sustained during last month’s UEFA Champions League encounter with Liverpool. The Premier League side advanced with a 4-1 aggregate win after defeating Galatasaray 4-0 in the second leg.
The 27-year-old forward underwent surgery shortly after the match and has since been undergoing rehabilitation away from the first-team squad.
His anticipated return comes as a major boost for coach Okan Buruk, whose side remain in a tight title race. Galatasaray suffered a 2-1 defeat to Trabzonspor last weekend, a result that highlighted their struggles in front of goal in Osimhen’s absence.
The Nigerian international has been in outstanding form this season, registering 19 league goals and seven assists in 29 appearances. His pace, strength, and relentless work rate have made him a key figure and one of the most influential players in the Turkish league this campaign.
