More Trouble In Paradise: Peter Okoye’s Birth Date Change Sparks Fresh Reactions In Family Drama

In a post shared on his X (formerly Twitter) account, he announced that his birthday will now be marked on November 30, instead of the previously observed date of November 18.

He also stated that he will no longer acknowledge messages or gifts on the old date, adding that all celebrations should henceforth take place on the new date.

He wrote: “Please note that I will not be accepting any messages or gifts on that day. My birthday will now be celebrated on November 30th. This is a personal decision, and I truly appreciate your understanding. Thank you all.”

The development comes amid an ongoing rift between Peter and his twin brother Paul Okoye (Rudeboy), as well as their elder brother Jude, who previously managed the group.

The family disagreement has reportedly lasted for years, straining their personal and professional relationships.

In a previous interview, Peter revealed that he is no longer in close contact with his brothers, saying the bond between them has significantly deteriorated.

He said, “We are no longer family at this point. Family is blood-related, but real family is loyalty. Don’t let family be the reason you’re drowning in silence.

“I stayed silent for over 20 years, and it almost cost me everything. But now I know better: love doesn’t manipulate, loyalty doesn’t betray, and family doesn’t steal from you. Family that steals and breaks you isn’t family at all.”
