Useni said Adamu has gained broad acceptance across Nasarawa and described the large turnout in Karu as proof of growing grassroots support. He added that the aspirant’s experience as former Inspector-General of Police positions him to effectively tackle insecurity and other challenges facing the state.

Also speaking, the campaign’s Director of Contact and Mobilisation, Hon. Isa Nathaniel, claimed more than 3,000 groups from Karu sought to be part of the rally in solidarity with Adamu. He described the former IGP as a formidable contender for the 2027 governorship race.

Nathaniel also argued that Governor Sule’s endorsement of Wadada remains a personal preference and is not binding on APC members in the state. He insisted party members would rally behind Adamu during the primaries to ensure his emergence as the party’s candidate.
