Damilola disclosed the development in a Snapchat video, where she was seen presenting branded caps to Sego during a political meeting believed to be part of her consultations ahead of the All Progressives Congress (APC) primaries.
During the meeting, Sego expressed confidence in her ability to perform if elected, urging party members and supporters to rally behind her ambition.
He called on constituents to turn out massively during the primaries, describing her as capable of delivering effective representation and linking her candidacy to the progress of Surulere.
Damilola, who currently serves as Senior Special Assistant to Lagos State Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu on Tourism, recently declared her intention to contest for Surulere Constituency II seat in the Lagos State House of Assembly under the APC.
In a post shared on Instagram, she said her professional background has prepared her for public service and effective representation, adding that she is committed to youth inclusion and development-driven leadership.
She described herself as part of a new generation of leaders ready to serve, stating her determination to be a strong voice for young people if elected into office.
