Kwankwaso Calls For Compensation For Missing Activist Dadiyata And His Family

Kwankwaso made the appeal on Saturday while reacting to reports alleging that Dadiyata may have been killed by some police officers in Kaduna State.

The claim was made by Musa Muhammad Kamarawa, a former Senior Special Assistant to ex-Zamfara State Governor Bello Matawalle, who alleged that Dadiyata was killed in his presence.

In a statement shared on , Kwankwaso said he had taken note of the allegation and commended the Inspector General of Police, Tunji Disu, for ordering an investigation into the disappearance.

He recalled that since Dadiyata was abducted in 2019, he and his associates had consistently called for a thorough investigation and justice for those responsible.

Kwankwaso described the order for a full probe as a welcome and overdue step, urging authorities to ensure the process is not compromised.

He also advised that individuals named in the allegations be placed under surveillance to prevent interference with the investigation.

Furthermore, he called on the government to provide compensation to Dadiyata (if found alive) and his family for the trauma and hardship they have endured over the years.

Kwankwaso also praised members of the public for keeping the case in the spotlight and commended Barrister Abba Hikima Fagge for his role in pushing for renewed attention on the matter.

He expressed hope that the ongoing investigation would finally bring clarity, truth, and justice to the long-running case.
