The artiste made this known via a post on his (formerly Twitter) account, where he also disclosed that he once turned down a $1 million offer from Mavin Records.

According to him, his decision was influenced by his dislike for constant social media activity and frequent engagement with fans, which he believes may not fit the expectations of a major record label.

In his words, he explained that he prefers minimal online presence, stating that he would rather post “once a year” than maintain continuous interaction, adding that he considers himself “too big” for that and prefers to remain mysterious.

Meanwhile, Blaqbonez has also spoken about his views on Nigeria’s political system, revealing during a recent appearance on the Off The Record podcast that he has never participated in any election.

He said his decision stems from disappointment with the country’s governance and a loss of faith in the possibility of meaningful change after years of unmet expectations.

The rapper further noted that he has mentally distanced himself from the system, adding that he sees little distinction between political parties, as similar challenges persist regardless of those in power.
