He said the exercise stood in sharp contrast to what he referred to as “results written in hotel rooms” by other political parties.

Jang made the remarks in a statement issued on Friday through his Media Consultant, Comrade Clinton Garuba, while congratulating the PDP on the successful conduct of its primaries nationwide, particularly in Plateau State.

In Plateau State, Hon. Sunday Garba Biggs emerged as the party’s governorship candidate for the 2027 general elections.

The former governor said the smooth conduct of the primaries reflected the party’s organisation, unity, and commitment to internal democracy.

“There is no doubt that the difference in approach, planning, and execution between the PDP primary elections and those of other political parties was like night and day,” he stated.

Jang maintained that the PDP allowed the will of its members to prevail through a transparent process, while alleging that some other parties engaged in imposition and lack of internal democracy.

He further alleged that in those parties, “results were merely written in hotel rooms despite elections held on the field.”

According to him, the PDP has once again demonstrated its commitment to democratic principles and respect for the mandate of its members.

Warning to Factional Members

Jang also cautioned individuals claiming to represent factional interests within the PDP in Plateau State, urging them to avoid actions capable of destabilising the party.

He reaffirmed that the PDP in Plateau remains united under the leadership of Chief Raymond Dabo.
