Inside Political Firestorm: Moses Paul Claims Forces Are Out To Destroy NDC
A former chairmanship candidate of the Abuja Municipal Area Council (AMAC), Moses Paul, has alleged that the internal crisis within the Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC) is part of a coordinated effort by political opponents to weaken and destabilise the party.....KINDLY READ THE FULL STORY HERE▶
Paul made the claim on Thursday during an appearance on Arise Television’s Prime Time, where he argued that there was a deliberate attempt to create divisions among key figures in the party, including its national leader, Seriake Dickson, presidential candidate Peter Obi, and vice-presidential candidate Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso.
He also dismissed suggestions that Peter Obi played any role in influencing the party’s nomination process, insisting that such claims were false and intended to mislead the public.
According to him, certain forces were actively working to sow confusion and internal conflict within the NDC following the entry of Obi and Kwankwaso into its structure.
“The agenda is to bring the NDC to its knees. To the best of my knowledge, Peter Obi did not nominate or influence any of these decisions,” he said.
Paul further alleged that external interests were attempting to destabilise the party by fueling discord among its leading figures.
“What is happening, especially with Peter Obi and Kwankwaso coming in, is that some people are doing everything possible to create chaos and anarchy within the party,” he stated.
He added that there were deliberate efforts to drive a wedge between what he described as the party’s key leaders.
“They are trying to create division, especially among the three key figures—Peter Obi, Senator Kwankwaso, and Senator Seriake Dickson,” he said.
Paul said he chose to speak publicly in order to alert party supporters and the wider public to what he described as a coordinated political agenda aimed at undermining the NDC.
