Oyebanji made the remarks shortly after he was declared winner of Saturday’s governorship election, expressing gratitude to the people of Ekiti for the confidence they have placed in his leadership.

He noted that the outcome of the election comes with greater responsibility and a stronger expectation to deliver good governance.

According to him, his administration remains committed to improving the welfare of residents and ensuring effective service delivery across the state.

“I fully understand the responsibility this victory places on my shoulders. It is a call to service for the people of Ekiti State,” he said.

“I assure our people that we will continue to serve with courage, compassion, humility, and the fear of God.”

Speaking on his plans for a second term, Oyebanji said his government would continue to implement the state’s existing development agenda.

He explained that the administration already has a clear roadmap for progress but will remain open to new ideas and emerging needs where necessary.

“We have a development plan, and we will continue to faithfully implement it. At the same time, we will adjust where necessary to address new priorities,” he said.

“Our focus remains the full execution of our development agenda for the benefit of all Ekiti people.
