Abba Kabir defeated his closest opponent, the All Progressive Congress in the Kano gubernatorial to clinch the seat of the Governor-elect.
He announced it via his Twitter handle. In his words, he wrote; “Today, I declared my assets and liabilities in a completed form submitted to the Code of Conduct Bureau, CCB. As we approach May 29, this earnest declaration of assets is a demonstration of the transparency and accountability that will form the bedrock of the incoming administration in Kano State under my headship. – AKY.”
