Award-winning Nigerian fashion designer Veekee James has revealed her ambition to charge as much as $100,000 for a single dress within the next five years, stressing that fashion remains her major career focus despite the growing opportunities in content creation.

The designer made the revelation while speaking on the CreativiTea Podcast, where she discussed her long-term goals and compared the earning potential of her fashion business with income that can be generated through social media brand partnerships.

Veekee James, who has built a strong reputation for her bridal and couture designs, said she believes fashion offers greater long-term financial opportunities and remains deeply committed to expanding her brand.

Speaking about her ambition, she said, “In the next five years, I see myself making one dress for $100,000, if not more. Just one dress.”

The fashion entrepreneur acknowledged that content creation can attract substantial financial deals but noted that such opportunities may involve lengthy contractual commitments.

According to her, a content creation deal could potentially earn her as much as $500,000, but such an agreement might only cover a one-year period.

She added that the revenue generated from producing a relatively small number of high-value dresses could enable her to reach similar financial targets without requiring the same amount of time.

Veekee James further described fashion designing as her passion and emphasized that content creation is primarily a tool for promoting her fashion business rather than a replacement for her core profession.
