Odetola also appealed to her fans and the public to remember her in their prayers as she embarks on what she described as a new season with God. She said she believes the decision was prompted by a divine calling that she could not ultimately avoid.

“I’m now a minister of God. I am entering a new season with God. I need all the prayers in this season,” she stated.

The actress added, “When God compels you, you may delay, but you cannot escape the call.”
